Liliesleaf
Liliesleaf was a safe house for the ANC in the days when all opposition to Apartheid and the National Government has been banned and forced underground. It was a refuge, a place where leaders came to discuss ideas and ideologies and to plan for the future. We have carried that atmosphere of thought and intellectual pursuit into our exhibit. Liliesleaf isn’t a recreation of a house as it was in 1963. It’s an explanation of ideas as they were in 1963. And an explanation of how remarkable those ideas were. We stop off here for more.

Sandton City/ Houton
We proceed to Sandton City drive around and to Houton where our leaders like Mr Nelson Mandela and Jacob Zuma live when they are in Johannesburg. These are the most beautiful and expensive suburbs in Gauteng.
Constitutional Court
The Constitutional Court is located in Hilbrow. It was used as a prison in the 1960's and early 70's. We stop off and learn more about the history of the Constitutional Court.
Top of Africa
Carlton Centre is located in the Central Business District of Johannesburg and is the highest building in the area. Join us on the top floor which offers a stunning 180 degree view of Johannesburg.
Lunch at Maphungubwe
Maphungubwe is a 4 star hotel located in Johannesburg. Here we stop off for lunch.
New Town
We head to New Town at the tip of Johannesburg.
New Town is known as the Entertainment Capital where shows are a regular attribute in the Market Theatre.
Here we walk around the flea markets.
Apartheid Museum
The bus stops off at the Apartheid Museum. The Museum tells about the history of Apartheid from as early as 1804 – 1994.
